Joann Young, 75, of Norwalk, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Sylvania, Ohio, and had lived in Norwalk for 19 years.
Joann and her husband, Robert, owned and operated the Main Street Cafe in Berlin Heights for many years.
She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Young of Toledo, Deborah (Bruce) Beagle of Adrian, Mich., Carmen (Joseph) Wallace of Milan, Linda (Marty) Vanyo of Fremont, Melody Young of Sandusky, Kevin Young of Reading, Mich.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two children, Thomas and Keith Young; siblings, Betty, David and Kate; a great-grandson; and her parents, Leroy and Carmen (Crist) Pugsley.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 28, at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor John Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
