Kevin C. Wobser, of Clyde, beloved son of Mary and Fred Wobser Jr., passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, in Stein Hospice Care Center after a long and courageous battle against cancer. He was 55.
Along with his parents, Kevin is survived by a sister, Amy Brocco (Mark); a brother, Jim Wobser (Jody); special friend, Maria Sesta; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by his faithful dog, Jake.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Susie and Carl Brunow; and paternal grandparents, Martha and Fred Wobser Sr.
Kevin was employed by Toft's Dairy.
He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had been a past member of their softball and dartball teams. He was a 1978 graduate of Perkins High School, and was also a participant of Habitat for Humanity through Trinity.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 18, in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Bardshar Road, Sandusky, where Kevin will be inurned in their columbarium. The Rev. Philip Gardner will officiate.
