Rachel Wiswell, 57, of Clyde, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, in her home. She was born Aug. 9, 1956, the daughter of Tony and Gladys (Lester) Davis.
Rachel married Toby Wiswell on Jan. 20, 1977, in Bellevue, and he preceded her in death in 2012.
Rachel was an active member of York Chapel Church. She loved her children and grandchildren, and was loved by many.
Rachel is survived by her daughters, Dana (Corbin Clark) Wiswell of Bellevue, Tonia (Mark Brown) Kiesel of Fremont, Angel Wiswell of Bellevue; son, Jeremy (Sarah) Wiswell of Toledo; one son-in-law, Troy Kiesel; grandchildren, Desiree Bowling, Gabriel Sawyer, Ava and Corbin Clark Jr., Marissa, Dominic and Madison Wiswell, and Trey, Kiara and Tevin Coley; one great-grandchild, Nico Gironda; a brother, Darrell (Francis) Lester of South Carolina; sisters, Pearley (Elbert) Honaker of Bellevue, Brenda (Terry) Evert of Bellevue, Adeline (Charles) Keefe of Castalia; her parents, Tony and Gladys Davis of Castalia; special friends, Danny and Ray Thatcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father, William Lester; a daughter, Crystal Wiswell; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Kiesel.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at York Chapel Church, 2252 CR 292, Bellevue. Burial will take place at a later date at Sandhill Cemetery. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.
