Stephen S. Myosky, 61, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at his residence.
He was born June 22, 1953, in Amherst, Ohio, the son of Stephen Anthony and Elizabeth Beatrice (Siferdin) Myosky. On July 5, 1975, he married Lynn Marie Snyder in Port Clinton, and she survives.
Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance for East Harbor State Park, Port Clinton. Stephen loved hunting and trapping. He always would say, “All I’m good for is taking care of grandkids and dogs,” both of which he loved to do. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Lynn Myosky; sons, Steven Myosky, Scott Myosky and Adam Myosky; grandchildren, Ryliegh, Abby, Adam Jr., Ashleigh, Destine and Adrianna; brothers, Richard Myosky, Michael (Cindy) Myosky and Robert Myosky; and his Labs, Princess and Bailey.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 13, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, with military graveside services conducted by the Homer D. Gardner VFW Post 2480.
