Judith “Judy” Ann Rogers, 70, of Berlin Heights, passed away Monday afternoon, July 7, 2014, in Mercy Medical Center, Lorain.
She was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., daughter of the late Stephen Walter and Florence Rose (Gasiewicz) Peters. Judy graduated from Huron High School in 1961, and worked as a legal secretary for the law firm of Wickens, Herzer, Panza.
Judy was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Her family was her life. She and her husband, Jerry, traveled to be with their kids and grandkids.
Judy is survived by her husband, Jerry, whom she married March 23, 1968; children, Todd (Nicole) Rogers, Beth (Mark) Law, and Mark (Sirena) Rogers; grandchildren, Cole, Kayla, Conner, Kase, Abby, Natalie, Allison and Grace; brothers, Stan (Carol) Peters, Dave (Karen) Peters, and Chris (Nancy) Peters; and dogs, Maggie and Libby.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. The Rev. Jeffrey R. McBeth will preside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
