Marjorie Claudette (Meyers) Mason, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, May 27, 2014, in the Cleveland Clinic.
Marjorie was born March 7, 1935, in Toledo, to Arnold and Theone (White) Meyers.
She was a 1954 graduate from Waite High School. Marjorie was a wonderful homemaker for many years. She later worked at Firelands Hospital for 10 years, Wal-Mart for 12 years, and most recently at Sam's Club as a friendly greeter for the past year. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, going to the casino, shopping, dogs and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Glenn Mason, whom she married Jan. 1, 1956. She is also survived by her children, Gale (Mark) Lapp, Jack Mason, Jill (Jeff) Jarrett and Jeff (Tammy) Mason; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Friday, May 30, until funeral services at 7 p.m., at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Melvyn Sayler will be officiating.
