On Sunday, May 4, 2014, Rosemarie Ann (Neifer) Kays, age 58, of Clyde, passed away peacefully in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, with her children Amber Whiley and Christopher John Kays present.
Rosemarie Kays was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret B. Neifer; her father, John R. Neifer of Bowling Green, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Jack Lambert.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Lambert of Bowling Green, Ohio, Paula (Patrick) Hamper of Keyser, W.Va.; brother, Terry L. (Sharon A.) Neifer of Toledo, Ohio; nephew, David Lambert of Bowling Green; her children, Amber Whiley, and Christopher John Kays; step children, Holly (Shawn) Myers, Abby Kays (Randie Monnett), and Suzanne Kays; former husband, Roger Whiley; and sister-in-law, Peggy Whiley of Clyde.
A 1973 graduate of Bowling Green Senior High School, she was employed for 30 years at Countryside Continuing Care Center, and recently employed by Innovative Support Services.
Her family thanks the amazing staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, and Cornerstone Church, Toledo, for their care and support for Rosemarie and her family.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, until a Memorial Service at noon, at St. Mary’s Church, 609 Vine, Clyde.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Humane Society of Sandusky County.
