Agnes May Smith, 78, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thursday, May 1, 2014, in Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, surrounded by her loving family.
Agnes was born July 18, 1935, in Castalia, to John and Lucille (Burgraff) Strouse Sr. On April 13, 1967, in Kentucky, she married Arthur M. Smith and he survives.
Agnes was a homemaker. She was a 25-year volunteer for Care and Share in Gypsum, Ohio. She was an avid NASCAR fan, except Kyle Busch. Agnes loved fishing, camping and watching NBA Basketball.
Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Arthur M. Smith; children, Debrah, Richard, William (Donna), Tina (Ramiro), Scott (Dawn) and Dawn (Michael); grandchildren, Brian, Ricky, Misty, Ashley, Shelly, Mia, Breanna, Josh, Brittany, Haley, Kaylee, Hannah, Tori, Scotty Jr. and Seth; great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Fink; and brother, John Strouse Jr.
Agnes was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and David, and parents.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6. The Rev. Timothy Ferris will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
