Mary Elizabeth Sheridan (Ralls) Kemper, 64, of Bellevue, died at home Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.
She was born Oct. 7, 1945, in Pittsburgh, to Rita Sheridan Ralls and Donald Edward Ralls. Mary Beth was a wife, mother, artist, pilot, community servant and passionate lifelong learner. She married Stephen on March 3, 1978, in their home. She was the first Chairman of the Architectural Standards Committee in Bellevue, was a member of the Bellevue Arts Counsel, served many years as senior warden of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, and in 1994 was president of Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.
There will be an open house 2-6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Kemper’s residence, 455 W. Main St., Bellevue, for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her older brother, Timothy.
She will be missed by her husband, Stephen; her children, Jason, Kenneth, Stephanie and Heidi; and grandchildren, Thomas, Sophia, Jared, Anna, Jackson, Savannah and Paisley. She is survived by her siblings, Christopher, Robin, Jonathon and Amy.
