MILAN

Dianne M. Barman, 63, of Milan died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in her home with family at her side.

She was born June 14, 1946, in New London, daughter of the late Dane and Arlene M. (Perkins) Crumrine. She grew up in New London and lived the rest of her life in the Norwalk and Milan areas. “Grandma Dee”, as she was affectionately known to her grandchildren, enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and supporting her family in their school sporting events, programs and other childhood activities. She was a room mother and former secretary for Monroeville School P.T.O. Dianne’s giving and compassionate spirit was evident as she volunteered to help the less fortunate in the community, especially during the holidays. Dianne truly “led by example”. Dianne was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all.

She is survived by her six children and 21 grandchildren, Tracey M. and Gary J. Obermiller and their children, Clayton, Jacob, Kaitlyn and Loren of New London, Todd N. and Kimberly S. Barman and their children, Jordan, Shalyn and  Austin  Barman and Taylor, Justin and Emily Cooley of Milan, Wendy M. Roth and her children, Nicholas, Benjamin and Samuel of Berlin Heights, Troy M. and Sarah J. Barman and their children, Larissa and Melinda of Pemberville, Ohio, Travis A. and Stacey M. Barman and their children, Morgan, Brooke, Adrian and Braden of Norwalk, and Misty R. and David T. Charville and their children, Carson and Avery of Luckey, Ohio. Dianne is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janet E. and Robert D. Burdue of Norwalk; and by her brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffrey A. and Denise A. Crumrine of Norwalk and Gregory C. Crumrine of Norwalk; and several nieces and nephews.
