Brenda Daley, 68, residing in Milan, passed away late Sunday morning, March 16, 2014, in The Bellevue Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Brenda was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Elkins, W. Va. Brenda is a 1964 graduate from Vermilion High School. She was previously employed at Eastman Grocery in Milan and for the past 10 years has been a cashier at Wal-Mart in Norwalk.
Brenda was a past Milan Girl Scout leader. She was an avid animal lover. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts and spending time with her family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Donald D. Daley; daughters, Christina (Patrick) Faith and Sarena (Palle) Jensen; son, Shawn Patrick Thomas (Erin) Daley; grandchildren, Hannah and Ally Douglas, Ethan and Caleb Conner and Quinn Faith; mother, Margaret Ware; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Ware.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S. Main St., Milan. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Ave., Norwalk. Pastor David Connor will presid. Burial will follow in Milan Cemetery.
