Harless Kennedy, 77, of Monroeville, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 15, 2014, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born June 19, 1936, in Coeburn, Va., to Grant and Laura (Bowens) Kennedy.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, and served over seas during the Korean War. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1974 after many years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles, watching sports, and sleeping on the couch.
Harless is survived by his three daughters, Cindy (Keith) Cook, Tammy Kennedy Camp, and Tina (Mike) Coan; two sons, Larry Wayne Hancock and Mike Kennedy; twelve grandchildren; his sister, Bess Arny; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Kennedy, in 2013; and five siblings, Grant, Sam, and Mable Kennedy, Minnie Ringley, and Ruby Patterson.
Friends may call from noon Thursday, March 20, until funeral services at 1 p.m., at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
