Raydelle F. Hayward-McMeeken, 95, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
She was born June 9, 1918, in Toledo, to Graydon and Bessie E. (Siefield) Rymers. Raydelle was a 1936 graduate of Bellevue High School. She was employed as an operator and bookkeeper with Northern Ohio Telephone Company.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bellevue.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Leni Mueller) Hayward,of Findlay, Graydon “Bud” Hayward, of Bellevue, and Roger (Cheryl) Hayward, of Bowling Green, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia (Merl) Miller and Mary (Chuck) Miller, all of Bellevue; grandchildren, Abby Jennings, Greg Hayward, Mark Hayward, Josh Hayward, Dustin Thonen, Heather Hayward, Mandy Root and Carie Sobb; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death in 1988 by her first husband, Ace Hayward, whom she married Oct. 1, 1939; second husband, Lowell McMeeken, whom she married Oct. 6, 1991; parents; sisters, Marion Smith and Helen Van Rensselaer; and grandson, Jeffrey Hayward.
Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where a funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Justin Jump, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 17.
