Betty L. Stinson, 83, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio.
She was born March 1, 1931, in Oak Harbor, daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Hanny) Overmyer. On May 16, 1959, she married Paul J. Stinson and he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2007.
Betty worked in the housekeeping and medical records department at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton until her retirement in 1996.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Port Clinton where she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Club.
Survivors include her sons, Charles (Deborah) Stinson, Mark Stinson and Brian Stinson, all of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Kyle Stinson and Leslie Crockford; and sister, Marlene Rosiar, of White Lake, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton. Pastor Bruce Batchelor-Glader will officiate.
