Carrie Sue Brinser, 50, of Clyde, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Stein Hospice Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Carrie was born Nov. 16, 1963, in Vicksburg, Miss., the daughter of William D. and Rissa (Lowe) Muirhead.
She was the manager of the Family Dollar store in Bellevue for 11 years. Carrie was a member of the Eagles Clubs in Bellevue and Clyde. She loved camping and scrapbooking. But her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carrie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Rissa Lorensen; step father, Eugene Lorensen; daughter, Tami Marie Edwards; sons, Charles Robert Edwards II and Chester “CJ” Brinser; grandchildren, Bryce Anthony Latham and Keyera Nicole Edwards; companion, Lloyd Stover; brothers, James Muirhead, John (Karen) Muirhead, Thomas (Pat) Muirhead and Dana (Lisa) Dorsey III; sister, Hattie (Brad) Hamons.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father; brother, Robert McNeely; step mother, Wilma Dorsey; grandparents, Horace and Marlene Hickman; and niece, Jennifer Muirhead.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the funeral home.
