Roger L. Mann, age 73, of Vickery, passed away peacefully in home, Sunday morning, Feb. 23, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Dickinson County, Va., and retired from JH Routh Packing, Sandusky. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed going fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Irene N. (Keith) Mann; daughter, Connie (Steven) Ritchie of Vermilion; two sons, Mitchel (Annette) Mann of Vickery, and Tony (Danielle) Mann of Castalia; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; three brothers, Bobby (Naomi) Mann, Carl (Nancy) Mann, and Kenneth Mann, all of Va.; two sisters, Geraldine (James) Page of Bellevue, and Linda (Stewart) Johnson of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his son, Ray Mann; parents, Evans and Juanita (Jenkins) Mann; and two sisters, Shelby and Billie.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, until services at 11 a.m., at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Rev. Studer will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
