Larry L. Fay, 72, of Huron, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Admiral’s Pointe Nursing and Rehab, Huron.
Larry was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Newark, Ohio, and lived most of his life in Huron. He worked at Great Wolf Lodge and retired in 2004, prior to that he worked at Northern Steel Company where he drove truck for several years.
He was formerly a member of the Huron Eagles. He liked fishing, boating, and motorcycles and enjoyed his “Donut Shop Gang” in Huron. He had fun with his grandchildren and his man’s best friend, Corky, his dog.
He is survived by three daughters, Laurie Brennan, of Huron, Lana (Jim) Thorne, of Huron, and Lisa Shatzer, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren, T.J. Wasily, Josh Ollendick, Heather and Hannah Brennan, Zachery Lewis, and Kaitlyn Thorne; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Wentz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Helen (Young) Fay.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 18, until services at 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron. The Rev. Jeffrey McBeth from St. Peter Catholic Church will officiate.
