Jeff C. Kuns, age 40, of Vickery, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.
He was born May 29, 1973, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1992. Jeff was a plumber for over 20 years and was currently working for Dunfee Hurst Plumbing. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and a lifetime member of the NRA. He loved to go mushroom hunting, play cornhole, watch the Cincinnati Bengals, and hunt.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Barbara (Nickle) Kuns; fiancé, Marianne; two step children, Devon and Kirsten; sister, Janet (Jimmy) Osborne; two nieces, Ashlie and Heather; and two great-nieces, Alyssa and Kirra.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Willard Nickel, and Pauline and Luther Kuns; and sister, Angel Tolley.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home. Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
