Amy Marie Benefiel Gibson, 47, of Seattle, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, due to medical complications.
She was born Nov. 23 1966, in Sandusky, to Kay (Gerold), of Seattle, and Bill Benefiel of Billings, Mont.
Amy attended Bogart Elementary in Castalia and Jackson Junior High in Sandusky before moving to Michigan.She was a long-time resident in Rodney, Mich., before moving to Seattle in 2010.
Amy was an amazing women who, even on her worst days, would light up a room with smile, laughter and perhaps a little sarcasm. She loved life and family.
She is survived by her mother; father; sisters, Beth Bakulich and husband Vince of Spokane, Wash., and Jen Frey and husband Wendell of Flagstaff, Ariz.; brother, Chris of Vancouver, Wash.; her sons, Tony Gibson of Canadian Lakes, Mich., and Jason Gibson of Seattle; three grandchildren, Taylor 11, Lindsey 9, and Natalie Gibson 7, children of Tony and Stephanie Gibson; nieces, Jessica LeBaron 19, and Dublin Benefiel 4; and nephews, Trace Bakulich 13, Niko Bakulich 10, and Andre Bakulich 8; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ohio and Michigan.
Amy was loved by many and will be truly missed.
