ERIE, Mich.
David A. Woolsey, 47, of Erie, Mich., passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, in St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Toledo, after a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 16, 1962, in Sandusky, to Marion and Mary Woolsey. David was a driver for various transportation companies. He was an avid Ohio State football fan and a lover of animals.
He is survived by his brothers, Richard Woolsey and Michael (Sheryl) Woolsey; soul-mate, Kristy Shipley, and her mom, Debbie Shipley; sister, Patsy Glover; nieces and nephews, Kristen Woolsey, Scott Woolsey, Jennifer (Sean) Nolan, Amanda Woolsey; and great-nephew, Ethan Nolan.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mary Woolsey.
Memorial visitation for David will be from 6 p.m. Monday until memorial service at 7 p.m. in H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Road, Toledo.
