Mary C. Dick, 95, of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, in The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born April 19, 1918, in Thompson Township, Seneca County, the daughter of Fred A. and Emma (Ausberger) Bauman.
She married Earl A. Dick March 30, 1940, at St. Michael’s Church in Marywood, Ohio. He preceded her in death Jan. 10, 1970.
Mary was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue and a volunteer member of the church’s funeral luncheon committee. She was also a retired Immaculate Conception School cafeteria worker.
Mary is survived by her son, Gerard T. (Chris) Dick of Bellevue; daughters, Paula J. Dick of Bellevue, Janice M. (Richard) Zieber of Bellevue, and Carolyn A. (Roger) Carnahan of Plymouth; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth E. Bauman of Bellevue.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, A. Bernadine Bauman; brother, Joseph F. Bauman; and sons, Kenneth and Paul Dick in infancy.
Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where the Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
