Karen K. Brown, 66, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly at home Monday morning, Feb. 15, 2010.
She was born July 30, 1943, in Columbus to Robert and Elie (Nielsen) Mayer. She retired from General Motors in 1996 after 30 years of employment. She was also a licensed beautician.
She is survived by her sons, Steve E. (Debra) Brown Jr., of Lorain and Richard W. (Cathy) Brown of Sheffield Village, Ohio; and aunt, Wilma Nielsen of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve E. Brown Sr. on April 12, 2008; parents; brother, Jorgen Mayer; and a granddaughter, Amanda K. Brown.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Wednesday until funeral services at 1 p.m. in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor James H. Gregory of Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
