Deborah Ann (Wittmer) Edwards, age 63, of Berlin Heights, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, in Cleveland Clinic.
She was born May 30, 1950, in Sandusky, and lived in the area her entire life. She was a 1968 graduate of Perkins High School. She had worked as a teachers aide and most recently for Job and Family Services of Erie County. Her biggest joy on life was her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Lois (Brecht) Bailey; her husband of 32 years, Timothy; her children, Thomas Behnke of Columbus, Ohio, Leslie Tackett of Columbus, Lisa (Bill) Deible of Columbus, T.J. Edwards of Crestline, Ohio, Greg Edwards of Berlin Heights; her brothers, Eugene (Sheila) Wittmer of Manistee, Mich., and John (Teresa) Wittmer of Vermilion; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Tommy, Trevor, Landon, Lilian, Lindsey, and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Wittmer; her step father, Kenneth Bailey; her daughter, Amy Behnke; and her granddaughter, Samantha Graham.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, until services at 7 p.m., at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Chaplain Melvin Sayler will be officiating.
