Jimmy L. Brown, 79, of Port Clinton, died Saturday morning, Dec. 7, 2013.
He was born April 8, 1934, in Laurel, Miss., the son of Willie and Quillie (McGowan) Brown. Jimmy was a U.S. Army veteran.
Jimmy retired in 1994 from Standard Products, and went on to work for the Toledo Blade as a carrier.
Surviving are daughters, Priscilla Brown-Williamson and Angela Simmons, both of Pearl, Miss., and Nadine Sullivan of Sandusky; sisters, Mary Ellis and Dorothy McMullins, both of Fremont; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy L. Brown; and brothers; Morris and Walter Brown.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont.
