Bonnie Lu Worcester, of Sandusky, passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 21, 2013, in The Willows at Bellevue following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 19, 1929, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Claude and Beulah (Keller) Klotz. Bonnie was an LPN, nursing home administrator, and the owner/operator of Vacationland Nursing Home for more than 10 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, listening to and playing music and spending time with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Connie (Ken) Meyer, of Lakeville, Minn., and Margaret (Bob) Schoewe, of Castalia; seven grandchildren, Chris (Kristine), of Vickery, and Jerry (Sylvia) Schoewe, of Clyde, Rachel Thomas, Rebecca (Shawn) Null and Tabitha (Chad) Raymond, all of Oklahoma, and Abby and Amelia Meyer, of Minnesota; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (James Paul) Barnard, of Arkansas; brother, Don (Nancy) Klotz, of Castalia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Bonnie was preceded in death by first husband, Floyd Koch; second husband, Burton Worcester; her son, David Koch; her parents; and her brother, Bill Klotz.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, and from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, until funeral services at 11 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Mike Cheek will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
