Patricia L. Fox, 56, of Milan, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 18, 2013, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Norwalk, to Leon and Agnes Delphine (Schwab) Fox.
Patti was a 1975 graduate of Edison High School and EHOVE. She was certified, and advanced in several IT language programs. She was employed by K Force Consulting, for over 10 years as a computer systems analyst. Her extensive knowledge in computer programming led to her being inducted into EHOVE’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, and spending time with her nieces and nephews, she was their “beloved Aunt Patti”. She had a love for all animals, especially cats. Patti was a very compassionate individual who would go out of her way to help others.
She is survived by her three siblings, Mary (Robert) Rayburn of Worthington, Ohio, Peter (Linda) of Swanton, Ohio, and Timothy (Penny) Fox of Norwalk; four nieces; three nephews; several great- nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Regina Ann, in infancy.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S. Main St. Milan. A prayer service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 130 S. Main St., Milan. Private burial will take place at a later date in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Milan.
