Thomas J. "T.J." Balduff, 55, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away early Monday afternoon, Nov. 11, 2013, at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 9, 1958, in Sandusky, to George Caleb and June Rose (Kurtz) Balduff. He was a 1976 graduate of Perkins High School where he attended EHOVE, majoring in welding. Tom worked at American Baler, in Bellevue, for 30 years as a welder, retiring in 2013.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors, He was a true die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Tom was always willing to give a helping hand and will be remembered for being generous with his time and talents in helping out his family and his many friends.
He had attended Holy Angels Catholic Church, was a member of Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490 and UAW Union Local 2063.
Tom is survived by his father, George C. Balduff; his brothers and sisters, Tim (Edie) Balduff, Sharon Balduff, Nancy (Jeff) Wasylik and John Balduff, all of Sandusky; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, "Bud."
Tom was preceded in death by his mother, June Rose (Kurtz) Balduff, (1995).
At his request there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 429 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Back To The Wild, P.O. Box 423, (4505 Bardshar Road), Castalia, OH 44824.
