Jane A. Kilianek, 86, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, Nov. 14, 2013, in Lutheran Memorial Home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Alphonse and Olive (Schlett) Riedy.
Jane was a devoted mother, and a hard worker. She was employed at Apex, F.W.Woolworths, the Donut House, Dicks Drive Thru and Markley's, and she operated Jane's Restaurant. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, and the lottery. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anita (Eddie) Brewer and Candy Ehlers; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Click, Brandon (Mandy) Ehlers and Jared "J.R." (Cindy) Brewer; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda and Brittany Ballard, James Click, and Brandon "B.J.", Annalyse, Luke and Christian Ehlers; brother, Larry (Cherie) Riedy; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane and Sandra Riedy; and nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy "Bo" Brewer and her brothers, Alphonse "Mick", Eugene "Skip", and Dale Riedy.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, until funeral services at 7 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Michael Roemmele will officiate.
