Myron King Hereford Jr., 33, Sandusky, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, in Fremont Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 10, 1980, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Paulette R. (Banks) Hereford and Myron King Hereford Sr.
In Illinois, Myron attended Shore and Park Schools where he excelled. Moving to Sandusky in 1997, he graduated from Sandusky High School in 1998. After graduation Myron worked for Double S Industries, and lived independently in Sandusky. Myron loved to ride horses at camp in the summers.
He is survived by his mother, Paulette R. (Banks) Hereford of Sandusky; father, Myron King Hereford Sr. of Phoenix; brothers, Mario (Tamara) Banks and Vashon (Shannon Watson) Banks, both of Evanston; sister, Andrea (Bryce White Sr.) Hereford of Euclid, Ohio; grandmother, Ella Mae Wallace of Evanston; uncle, Dorian (Sharon) Banks Sr.; aunts, Julienne Watt and Vanessa Dortch; special friend, Larry Knight; god mothers, Sandra Dozie and Pamela Latimore; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gwendolyn Lee (Hughes) Banks; grandfather, Robert L. Banks; uncles, Lance Lee, and Clayton “Skipper” Hereford.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, until funeral services at noon, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddie Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate.
