Marian J. Brogle, 86, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 30, 2013, in Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born March 9, 1927, in Sandusky, to Andrew and Emma (Stoker) Wangler.
Marian was a 1945 graduate of Sandusky High School, and was employed by the former Neisner’s, Spector’s, and Philco Corporation. She loved bowling and baking.
She is survived by her children, Sharen (Michael) Sheppard of Sandusky, Pamela (Robert) Wilke III of Huron, Joseph A. Brogle of Castalia, and Bryan Brogle of Medina, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Libby, Bobby, Madison, Sloane, and Paige; two great-grandchildren; special friends at Parkvue; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Brogle in 1996; twin sister, Marilyn, in infancy; and two brothers, Donald, and another brother in infancy.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the funeral home, with Rev. Dan Miller of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery.
