Luella P. Krynock, 81, of Gypsum, Ohio, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton.
She was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Rockland, Ma., to Frank H. and Ruth P. (Colyer) Taylor. She married Clarence J. “Bud” Krynock on Sept. 24, 1949, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2004. Mrs. Krynock worked for Heigel’s Grocery Store for 17 years and Green’s Drug Store of 23 years.
She enjoyed making crafts and baking with Adam. She was a member of the Knit Wit Knitting Group.
Surviving is her daughter, Karen (John) Schiewe of Port Clinton; son, Steve (Debbie) Krynock, of Port Clinton; grandson, Adam Schiewe; niece and great-niece, Stephanie and Courtney Summers; nephew, Jimmy and Mary Ellen Zura; special friend, Mary Schiewe; her “Gypsum Family” and her knitting girls.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leland Taylor, Carlton Taylor, Harold Taylor; step-brother, Russell Hitchings; and sisters, Natalie North and Evelyn Noland.
The family would like to thank her neighbors, knitting group, Jenna, Emily, Christy, Peggy, Debbie, Steve and all of the Stein staff for helping care for their mother.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1. Burial will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Janine Dress will officiate.
