Helen Mae Keegan, 84, formerly of Vickery, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky.
Mrs. Keegan was born June 5, 1926, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (Dildine) Warner. Helen graduated from Sandusky High School in 1944. She worked in the Townsend School cafeteria for 43 years.
Helen was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Vickery, and along with her husband, belonged to several card clubs, including the Keegan Card Club.
On April 14, 1945, she married Lloyd A. Keegan and he preceded her in death May 8, 1987.
Survivors include their sons, James K. (Lisa) Keegan and David (Kathy) Keegan of Vickery; six grandchildren, Jill Gaitto (Mark Chambers), Julie (James) Hall, David Keegan, Andrew Keegan, Jennifer Keegan (Andrew Fultz) and Todd Keegan; stepgrandchildren, Chad Miller and Jennifer (John) Lenthe; and five great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her brother, James Warner.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, where her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30. The Rev. David Klappenbach will officiate. Private family burial will be at Meadow Green Cemetery.
