Lloyd W. Taylor Jr., 74, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, in his residence following a lengthy illness.
Lloyd was born Jan. 5, 1939, in Middlesboro, Ky., to Lloyd and S. Lee (Estes) -Taylor-Fleming.
Lloyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines Corps. He was employed as a truck driver in Ohio, New Jersey, and Texas for several years. He was also owner and operator of Lloyd’s Mobile Service in Cleveland, Ohio.
Lloyd is survived by his two sisters, Jane Whelan of Huron, Ohio, and Kathleen (Scott Driver) Sefsic of Cleveland, Ohio; and brother, James (Arlene) Taylor of Newbury, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by sister, Mary (James) Hendrock.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, until services at noon, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.
