David G. Tuttamore, 83, of Bellevue, passed away Monday, Oct. 07, 2013, in The Willows at Bellevue.
He was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Bellevue, the son of Samuel and Millie (Kudro) Tuttamore. He married Irene Elsie Hartley on June 21, 1952, at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue, she preceded him in death in 2006.
Dave was a 1947 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Post 46, and served as past Commander, Former 5th District Commander, and a member of the Disabled Veteran’s. Dave loved cars and was a member of the Car Coddlers, and an antique car collector.
He is survived by his three sons, William (Lois) of Marblehead, David (Anna) of Bellevue, and Thomas of Bellevue; a daughter, Mary A. (Timothy) Meade of Sandusky; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert; granddaughter, Trista Tuttamore; and siblings, Louise Swartz, George Tuttamore, and Mike Tuttamore.
Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
