Fae M. (Baker) Fife, 80, of Norwalk, and formerly of North Fairfield, Ohio, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, in her home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Willard, Ohio, and was a lifelong area resident. Fae attended North Fairfield High School and was a member of the Fitchville United Methodist Church.
She was a former employee of Rotary Printing Company, West Baking Company, Norstat, Inc. and had worked at the Faulhaber Company in Monroeville, Ohio for 14 years. Fae retired from the North Fairfield Legion in 1995.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and especially enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce A. and Vicky Baker of Green Bay, Wis.; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky L. (Penrose) and Richard E. Rogers of Huron, and Deana M. and Mark Claubaugh of Sandusky; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; six step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Erma and Raymond Ross of Norwalk; and brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Vicki Craig of North Fairfield, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fife, in 1999; and by her mother, Dorothy Craig.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home. Rev. Roger Shelly-Watts, Pastor of the Huron United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in North Fairfield Cemetery.
