Wendell Lee Joseph, age 80, of Bellevue, passed away Sept. 26, 2013, in The Willows of Bellevue.
He was born Sept. 22, 1933, in Bellevue, the son of Kenneth E. and Rena Mae (Stark) Joseph. Wendell was a retired electrician. He enjoyed fishing.
He married Clara Mae (Moyer) Joseph Oct. 7, 1950, at Fireside, and she survives him in Bellevue. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Thomas L. (Rhonda) Joseph of Bellevue, Paul A. (Jeanette) Joseph of Bellevue, Roger A. (Margo) Joseph of Avon; daughters, Linda D. (John Shumway) Siesel of Bellevue, Susan M. (Brian) Pickens of Evansville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Lynn (Karen) Joseph of Port Clinton; sisters, Helen Dendinger of Bellevue, Katherine (Homer) Greer of Murphy N.C., Thelma (John) Gaspar of Los Angeles, and Ethel (Harold) Smallwood of French Creek, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Forrest, and Howard Joseph; and a sister, Althea Whiteman.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Zion United Church of Christ (Fireside), 13525 Township Road 178, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Fireside Cemetery.
