Myron L. Churchill, age 82, of Berlin Heights, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.
He was born April 24, 1931, in Milan, and lived in the Berlin Heights area his entire life. He was a 1949 graduate of Berlin Heights High School. He worked as a cabinet maker for Firelands Kitchens. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, riding his bicycle, fishing, and spending time at Huron Lagoons.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Suzanne (Jordan); his children, Judy (Bill) Stumpf of Norwalk, Douglas (Jackie) Churchill of Bellevue, David (Patti) Churchill of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Jessie Churchill, of Toledo; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol (Dan) Genaway of Butler, Pa., and Ginny (John) Kent of Huron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Helen (Smith) Churchill; and two brothers, Clifford and Melvin Churchill.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, until the time of services at 1 p.m., at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Peaks Cemetery.
