Roy Fulton Brown Jr., 59, of Bacliff, Texas, and formally of Sandusky, passed away Thursday Aug. 29, 2013, in his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 20,1954, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the son of Dorothy P. Baber of Bacliff, and Roy Fulton Brown Sr.
Roy was in the U.S. Marines, he was married for 26 years, and was a carpenter for many years, with other jobs along his way.
He survived by his six children, Troy A. (Sara) Brown of Bellevue, Sophia M. (Jarrod Williams) Swain, Racquel M. (Billy Swain) Brown, Corey A. (Kayleah Burchett) Brown, Nina A.Brown, Roy F. Brown III, all of Sandusky; and the mother of his children, Asusena M. (Villarreal) Brown of Sandusky; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Mathes, and Wanda Izard of Texas; brother, Jack Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephew all of Texas.
Roy was proceeded in death by his parents, Dorothy P. Baber and Roy Fulton Brown Sr.; brother, Richard Baber; granddaughter, Journey Le Williams; and son-in-law, Kenneth L.Swain Jr.
There will be a private service with his close family.
