Jeanne Kay (Good) Lomneck, 64, formerly of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, in Orlando Regional Medical Center, Florida, following a lengthy illness.
Jeanne was born and raised in Sandusky, the third of 10 children. She graduated from Perkins High School in 1967.
She moved to Winter Springs, Fla., in the early 70s with her first born child, Chad. In Florida she met her husband James Lomneck, married in 1979, and their second son, Bradly, was brought into the world.
Jeanne worked for over 20 years with Sears, retired, and worked the remainder of her years for Douglas Fertilizer/Andersons Inc.
Jeanne and Jim were married for 34 years. Her life’s treasures were spending time with family and especially her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jeanne’s pleasures were frequenting the beach, her annual trip to Ohio, reading, and playing bingo at the VFW.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Chad (Kim) Sartor, and Brad (Jennifer) Lomneck; mother, Dorothy (Streng) Good; siblings, Judy Morey, Peggy (John) Sargeant, Rick (Sherri) Good, Ruth (Jack) Kent, Gerry Dabney, Chuck (Edie) Good, and Paul (Angie) Good; grandchildren, Trent Hall, Kallie Lomneck, Trevor Sartor, Cooper Lomneck; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Good; infant brother, Richard; and sister, Mary.
Funeral services will be 6-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at DJ Enea Funeral Home, Winter Garden, Fla.
