Rosalie A. Keefer, 75, Attica, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born May 31, 1938, in Attica, to Lewis A. and Ruth L. (Wrinkle) Lutz.
Rosalie was employed at Heimlich Dairy Maid, R.R. Donnelley, Attica Cut Rate, was a waitress at the Hi-Ho in Willard, and Hideaway Ceramics over the years.
She was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church, Attica Senior Citizens, and active with the Community Giving Closet. She enjoyed being outside, bowling and making ceramics. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Daisy.
Rosalie is survived by her husband, Bernard Keefer, whom she married June 19, 1965; two sons, Gerald (Lynn) Cupp of Orange Park, Fla., and David (Trish) Keefer of Louisville, Ky.; two daughters, Marjory (Daniel) Gibson of Tiffin, and Teresa (Clint) Smith of Attica; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Lutz of Columbus, and Charles Lutz of Florida; and one sister, Susanne Overmier of Alvada, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Sean Wayne Keefer; sister, Martha Evens; and brother, David Lutz.
Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Attica United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church, Pastor Michael Padula officiating.
