Thomas A. Ricci, 55, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, Oct. 18, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 8, 1955, in Bainbridge, Md., son of the late Harriet (Bladecki) and Avenerio Ricci. He was a 1973 graduate of Huron High School and attended John Carroll University and Terra Community College. He was employed for the past 13 years by Independent Automotive Corp. (formerly Lear Corp.) in Huron.
Tom was a loving father, husband and brother. He enjoyed sci-fi movies and working on computers.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Brown) Ricci, whom he married Dec. 23, 1982; his son, Anthony, at home; his sisters, Julie (Robert) Koehler of Collins, Gina (George) Bartlebaugh of Fremont, Christina Rospert of Collins and Teresa (Andrew) Leedy of Columbus; his brothers, Paul (Linda) Ricci of Sandusky, Marc (Sue) Ricci of Norwalk and Joe Ricci of Columbus; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Alloggio.
Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
