Donald J. Hush Jr., 60, of Danville, Ohio, and Sandusky, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Aug. 29, 2013, in Las Vegas.
He was born Dec. 2, 1952, in Sandusky, and was a 1971 graduate of Margaretta High School.
Don was a member of American Legion Post 83 Sons of the Legion, and enjoyed camping and being with his family and friends. He was employed by the Resley and Sortino families since 1984. Prior to this, he drove truck for Sandusky Dressed Beef.
Donald is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda (LaCourse); seven children, Jessica (Jason) Voegle, Dawn Hush, Donnie Hush all of Sandusky, Deanna (Joseph) Hush of Norwalk, Lisa (Lee) Klenk, Christopher (Chrissy) Klenk, both of Sandusky, and Melissa Klenk of Danville; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; one brother; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; with special mention to Bob and Les Resley of Huron.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice (Strohm) Hush; and his father, Donald J. Hush Sr.
Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at noon Friday, Sept. 6, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave. The Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of Pfeil Funeral Home.
