Martha E. Kingseed, 92, of Huron, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in Admiral's Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center, Huron, after an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Huron and was a lifelong resident. In her younger years she worked as a manager for Holiday Inn managing two inns in Fremont and Bucyrus for 20 years.
She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Huron; past president of the Huron Garden Club; and a loyal patron of the Huron Public Library for many years.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sandra Kingseed of Huron; three grandchildren, Christopher Kingseed of St. Charles, Ill., Kyle Kingseed of Springfield, Va., and Kirsten Tanis of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; and three great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Dambach; and son, David Kingseed.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Scott Cemetery, Huron, with the Rev. Clair Brewer officiating.
