Lawrence "Larry" Canterbury, 81, of Sandusky, died Monday afternoon, Aug. 16, 2010, in Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
He was born on February 3, 1929, in Delbarton, West Virgina. He retired from General Motors after 31 and half years. He served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1952. He was a member of the Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his sons Ken and Keith Canterbury. He is also survived by four grandchildren Seth Canterbury, Shea Magill, Benjamin Canterbury, and Rachael Canterbury and three great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Shelby and Rebecca Canterbury and four brothers and three sisters.
Family and friends may call Thursday August 19, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights, where services will be held on Friday at noon with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
