David J. Holler, age 78, of Huron died Tuesday August 10, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. He was born on October 1, 1931 in Lord, Maryland and has lived in Huron since 1984. He worked for the Standard Oil Gas Station in Avery for many years. After retiring, he worked at Cedar Point for several years. He was a former member of the Norwalk Eagles. He loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
He is survived by his four sons, David (Debbie) Holler, of NV, Brad (Blenda) Holler, of MI, Craig Holler, of Huron, John (Rita) Holler, of Berlin Heights, a sister Betty Fosco, of Columbus, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Catherine (Morgan) Holler, and his former wife Loretta (Pine).
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home 38 South Street, where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am. Reverend Joyce Schroer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
