Nina M. Waterfield, 84, of Clyde, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, in The Willows in Bellevue.
Nina was born March 12, 1929, in Clyde, to the now deceased Lester and Ruth (Joseph) Spraw. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1947. She worked at Dale's Market in Clyde and then for 20 years as a cook at the Clyde-Green Springs High School.
Mrs. Waterfield was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde. She enjoyed playing cards and had been a bowler.
On March 7, 1959, she married James E. Waterfield. He survives, along with their four children, Scott (Kim) Waterfield, of Bellevue, Jim (Michele) Waterfield, of Fremont, Doug (Jackie) Waterfield, of Clyde, and Lori (Chris) Charles, of Fremont. Seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Carl Spraw, of Florida and Ruthie Nobles, of Clyde, also survive.
Preceding Nina in death were a sister, Edna Heifner, and brother, Lawrence Spraw.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, until the service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Forest Street, Clyde. The Rev. Gerhardt Gosnell will officiate. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery, Veteran's Section.
