Blanche Marie (Goodenough) Esposito, 90, residing in Moraga, Calif., with her daughter Cheryl, and formerly of Huron, died June 21, 2010, in Rheem Valley Nursing Home in Moraga.
She was born April 5, 1920, in East Palestine, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Mamie (Gorby) Goodenough. Blanche was a 1938 graduate of Norwalk High School and worked at Sawmill Creek Resort for 12 years.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Nelson of Moraga; son, Dale (Hanne) Robinson of Mentor, Ohio; her granddaughters, Nanette Nelson, Robin Nelson, Laurie (Patrick) Gallagher, Lori (Robert) Rosen and Janine (John) McGee; her grandsons, Dean (Karen) Robinson, Jeffrey Robinson, Charles (Laura) Coiner and Marcus Robinson; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol (John) Reed of Norwalk; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas J. Esposito on March 30, 2009; two sons, Dean and David Robinson; her parents; and her sister, Dorothy Maust.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where a prayer services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday followed by a 10 a.m. mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park Huron.
