Margaret Antoinette Nedveski, 86, of Norwalk, passed Sunday, June 27, 2010, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Adena, Ohio, to European immigrants. She moved 16 times following her husband's career as a captain in the Ohio Highway Patrol settling in Norwalk after his retirement.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Sorokach) and John Kasarda; by brothers, John, Michael (Eva), and George (Delores) Kasarda; by sisters, Mary (John) Kacsmar, Anna (Peter) Miric, Elizabeth (Stanley) Dulkoski, Helen (John) Faunda and Sue (Andrew) Yanok; and by her brother-in-law, Walter (Louana) Baer.
She is survived by her lifelong partner of 64 years, Frank Nedveski Sr.; by her son and daughter-in- law, Frank and Joyce Nedveski II of Norwalk; and by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ted Wright of Ottawa Lake, Mich. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Laura and Nathan Nedveski and Jason and Jackie Cutsinger; many beloved nieces and nephews; and by her sisters-in-law, Margaret (Charles) Malonek, Vera (Joe) Cusick, Bertha (David) Leonard and Barbara (Joseph) Jacobs. Margaret was a loving, dedicated wife and mother who will be greatly missed. Everyone who knew her was entertained by her personality and sense of humor, impressed by her memory, and humbled by her sense of goodwill toward others.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. Wednesday until service at 3 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. David Young will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
