Mark T. Borough, 58, Sandusky, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in the Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Duluth, Minn., and graduated from Duluth Central High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Thacker Aluminum for 32 years.
Mark was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, U.A.W., American Legion Post 83, Sandusky Eagles 44, and AMVETS Post 17. He was a great fan of the outdoors and loved camping, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Corwin) Borough, to whom he was married 32 years; sons, Jason Borough and James (Heather) Borough, both of Sandusky; special niece, Jacqueline Corwin of Sandusky; grandchildren, Kaylee Stanley, William Borough, Kirsten Borough, Torien Borough, Amelia Borough and Meagan Borough; sister, Kathy (George) Lancour of Duluth; brothers, Steve (Joanie) Borough, Ronnie (Linda) Borough, Jerry Borough, Bill (Trish) Irving, Marty Irving and Jim "Tex" Irving, all of Duluth, Rick Borough of Denver, and Jeff (Connie) Irving of Eau Claire, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean (Negoski) Irving; father, James Irving; and brothers, Mike Borough and Jack Borough.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m., July 31, until memorial Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Chris Kardzis will officiate.
