Lois E. Blystone, 75, of Norwalk died Friday, June 11, 2010, in her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Venice, Ohio, daughter of the late Jesse and Nellie V. (Stout) McCreery and came to this area in 1966 from Castalia. She was a member of New Covenant Light House Church and was a former employee of Periodical Publishing Co. of Sandusky and Norstat of Norwalk. Lois enjoyed playing bunko, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Blystone of Norwalk; sons and daughter-in-law, David Blystone Sr. and Timothy and Laura Blystone, both of Norwalk; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Jenny Blystone and Steven and Carolyn Blystone, both of Norwalk; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Lois is also survived by her brother, Clair McCreery of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Blystone in 2005; her son, Dana Blystone; brothers, Clayton, Ronald, Cleo and Earl; and her sisters, Marguerite, Ruth and Joyce.
Friends may call 5-9 p.m. Monday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kenneth Blystone will officiate. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
